For the past few months, church services worldwide went online. Now the churches are beginning to open up but there are many who -- for health or mobility reaso...ns -- are not able to attend mass. Have you ever thought of having your home blessed? There's no place like home -- and that's even more true, now that COVID-19 has turned our homes into our plac...es of refuge. There's actually a Biblical precedent for self-isolation: in Isaiah 26:20 we read: "Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by." Many families have their home blessed when they move into it; others find it is a perfect way to begin a new year. But what better time than now? The fear and uncertainty that hangs in the air at this time cannot help but affect the mood of your home and those living in it. That is why I am offering home blessings -- at a distance -- by Facetime. Beginning at your front door and leading into each room, we will pray over your home.
