Hi Everyone, It doesn't come as a big surprise that all running clinics across the province are officially cancelled. This order doesn't affect us much as most of you have been running/training on your own anyway and now they have just made it official. From the day we opened 4 years ago, as many of you may know we will deliver shoes to your door. This service doesn't have to be just for harsh winter conditions, it is available for every situation. If your current shoes are preventing you from getting outside in nature. Please give me a call and we can arrange to have shoes dropped off outside your door with zero contact, usually the same day.

To our "PaceSetter family" of customers and run club/clinic members, and everyone on the coast trying to stay active and healthy, please note we are continuing to stay open at regular hours (except tonight & tomorrow morning - see separate post) until we are told to do otherwise. We usually work with 1 customer (or family) at a time; now we will make that the rule. Please call ahead if you are thinking of stopping by, to find out if someone's already here or not. Larry is re...gularly disinfecting all the door handles, etc. - any surfaces and items commonly touched. You may have seen him with spray bottle in hand! Self isolating? If you know exactly what shoe you want, please phone us. If we have it or can order it in, you can pay by phone with a credit card and Larry will deliver it after hours (as far as Halfmoon Bay). Take care of yourselves and your loved ones! Being outside (at a safe distance) and exercising is great for your immune system both physically and mentally! Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know the store will close at 4:30 today and will re-open at 11 tomorrow.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Postponement of 2020 BMO Sunshine Coast April Fool’s Run presented by Eastlink To all participants, potential participants, volunteers and sponsor...s: As a result of the newly announced provincial ban on events larger than 250 people due to the COVID-19 situation, we will not be able to hold the 2020 Fools Run on April 5th. But don’t despair! It will be postponed, NOT cancelled. We have chosen Sunday, August 9th as an alternative race date. (That is the weekend we usually reserve for the Four Lakes 10k in Garden Bay.) It doesn’t conflict with any other types of large events on the Sunshine Coast. Yes, it will be warmer than our usual April date but in fact, it’s never been all that warm for the Four Lakes race. We will add at least 1 extra water station on course. All entries for the April 5th date will be automatically carried over to the August 9th date. If you know now that you will be unable to attend on August 9th due to previously made plans, we will be offering a free deferral to the 2021 edition of the Fools Run, or a free transfer of your 2020 entry to another person. Please email us at [email protected] no later than Friday, March 27th to request your free deferral or transfer. Use subject line Fools Run 2020 COVID-19 Deferral Request. If a transfer request, please Cc: the person who will be receiving the transferred entry and ask them to provide us with their details (as on the entry form).
