At Pacific Rim Physiotherapy our re-opening begins gradually, on June 1st. Lynn and Darrell will resume in-person appointments this week, in Port Alberni and Qualicum. To allow for safe resumption of physiotherapy, physical distancing practises, hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and frequent cleaning and disinfection are implemented. At this time, we cannot accommodate drop-in visits and use of our gym exercise area. Yoga classes are postponed. We will continue to supplement in-person physiotherapy care with virtual physiotherapy ( by phone, and videoconference) as a safe and effective option for our patients whenever possible. Our clinic continues to have a supply of our favorite self-care tools for home exercise and pain relief for you.
