We our amazing residents! Inge is a 91-year-old resident of Pacifica Seniors Lodge in Nanaimo who is passionate about knitting and helping her community. She has decided to give all proceeds from her knitted items to the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank. Last week, Inge presented $704 to Peter from Loaves and Fishes.

Join us in congratulating Sharon on her new position as the Director of Regional Operations in Nanaimo! Sharon has 30+ years of experience in the social service and counselling fields. Beginning her career in nursing at the University of Alberta Hospital, she then followed her heart into the field of social services. Previously Sharon has coordinated specialized victim service and child advocacy programs; worked as an addictions and life skills counsellor; provided street out...reach and mental health supports to individuals experiencing homelessness, and managed programs supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Sharon has been an employee at Pacifica for over 4 years now, and was instrumental in setting-up the supportive site at Nikao in order to respond to a critical need in the community, along with the rest of her outstanding team.
