This 2 hour Instructor-led live interactive workshop will enhance knowledge, skills and confidence in creating childcare settings that support physical literacy, healthy eating and healthy child development.... Planning tools, self-assessments, recipes, games and activities will be shared. An overview of the resource-rich Appetite to Play website will be included. Women in Sport Training Alert! Pacificsport Okanagan is thrilled to be offering a Canadian Women in Sport Workshop (Leading with Confidence) on October 19, 2020 at 5:00pm! (Free online). The workshop will be offered as part of our partnership with the Canadian Women in Coaching network, as a legacy from our Gender Equity in Sport Leadership series in March 2020.... This interactive workshop is designed to uplift the skills of the next generation of Canadian sport leaders university and college aged young women involved in sport and physical activity (e.g. varsity athletes, kinesiology or sport management students). Participants will explore the experiences of female leaders, reflect on the value of sport and physical activity in their leadership journey, and consider how they can further develop their skills to be strong leaders now and in the future.
