Pacini to close all its restaurants for 14 days Community well-being comes first After following all the recommended precautions and measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, Pacini is taking an additional step by temporarily closing all of its establishments across Canada starting Monday, March 16.... This decision supports the recommendation put forward by political and health authorities to avoid large gatherings in order to effectively fight the coronavirus. The chain aims to protect its customers, employees, franchisees, suppliers, partners and every community where it is established. Very large companies, such as Apple and Nike, have already closed all their stores, no matter what it costs, says Pierre Marc Tremblay, owner of the chain. We applaud their sense of responsibility and their courage, and we put our shoulder to the wheel, adds Nathalie Lehoux, Happy President of Pacini. Given this decision, all employees will benefit from employment insurance and they will be ready to welcome and serve our guests as soon as the situation returns to normal. Until then, Pacini will donate all of its surplus food to Quebec food banks. More than ever, Pacini leaders and employees wish you health, love and happiness. Once this event is behind us, we look forward to welcoming you again to one of our restaurants.

BE REASSURED In every Pacini restaurant, we have taken all the recommended measures and precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19. We have temporarily removed breads, spreads, jams and tongs from the Bread Bar. Please ask your server for the spread / jam and bread you want to grill. He or she will be happy to bring them to your table with a clean fork to use for grilling your bread.... We have taken a series of other preventive measure, too. For example: Check holders have been eliminated: you will receive your check directly from the terminal. Servers will bring you an empty take-out box for your leftovers so you can put them in the container yourself. We have increased the frequency of antibacterial cleaning of surfaces and objects likely to be touched by numerous people. We are cleaning all of our payment terminals more frequently. We have reminded all our employees about the best hand-washing techniques and the need to stay at home at the first apparent flu-like symptom. Our dining rooms already set up for healthy social distancing will not exceed the maximum capacity of 250 people. We are very concerned about the situation and we will continue to do everything in our power to provide you with a pleasant and safe experience. We look forward to welcoming you at one of our restaurants!

At Pacini, we continue to find new ways to care for the planet. After adopting reusable water bottles and doing away with plastic straws and breakfast napkins, we’ve now said goodbye to a long-time fixture on many of our plates: the fries cone. Since October, all restaurants have been serving our fries in reusable dishes.
