Fredericton's Pallmer were awarded a performance at Paddlefest 2021 during this fall's FEST FORWARD. We look forward to hosting them at next year's festival!

Thank you Music / Musique NB and the New Brunswick music community for what can only be considered an alternate reality Festival of the Year award. It certainly feels strange to be receiving this in 2020, and this award truly belongs to all the local festivals and events who have had a challenging year. We love you all and hope that 2021 brings us all back together to enjoy live music!

Paddlefest has been a bit quiet as of late. With so much going on it's been a bit overwhelming, to say the least. But it's also been a good time to stand back and absorb as much as we can to carry forward. This past weekend, some of the Paddlefest planning committee were able to get away to Grand Manan. Carly, festival director for the Summers End Folk Festival was our gracious host and it was a welcome time away in a beautiful part of our province. In between group dinners,... hiking and lots of laughs we did carve out some time to try and figure out what Paddlefest 2021 might look like. It's way too early to truly say, but the ball is rolling to figure out how we celebrate what will be 25 years of Paddlefest. It might mean smaller shows with bubble tables. It might mean seating only at the Main Stage. It might mean booking outdoor activities in groups. It will certainly look a bit different than before but we'll see you in May in one form or another.
