Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas this season! Thank you for the support this summer, we were the busiest yet while dealing with the challenges of 2020! We were able to contribute funds to the community to show our gratitude. Over a thousand dollars went out to various causes, including helping a child go to Junior Horse Camp at Red House Stables, Girl Guides of Canada in Fortune, Christmas Dinner delivery to those in need organized by Melvin Ford, Souris & Area Branch of th...e P.E.I. Wildlife Federation, and the Souris Food Bank. We were also happy to help with a fundraiser for Blooming House organized by Kingfisher Outdoors. Other causes we helped with by contributing Gift Certificates to were MADD, SRS, Early Learning Academy, Camp Triumph, and Ringette. We're proud to be part of this community, and always will be because of the people who call it home. All the best in 2021!

Eglington bay land development got the job done! We're looking forward to planting our hedges and an orchard in the spring. Looks like it will be super simple with this level of work done. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to clear some land.

The difference in three years is even amazing to us. We work hard and invest substantially to provide an excellent interface to the Fortune River for your paddling adventure. We are currently upgrading the counter system to be the capstone piece of the interior upgrades. We're also happy to say our new stairs have arrived, replacing the steep staircase that concerned some customers. Season 5 starts the last weekend of June, 2021.

@kingfisheroutdoorsinc raised over a thousand dollars with their Witches on the Water event today, with all proceeds going to Blooming House in Charlottetown. Was great to work with @outsideexpeditions to help Kingfisher Outdoors raise these funds for such a worthy cause.

Took a few minutes to scrub off some moss on the Acadian Monument. Doing it before a rainfall helps with rinsing off all the soap. Hi folks, we're changing our policy for weather related cancellations. We used to recommend cancellations based on what the conditions were. Some people choose to go anyway, and they usually can judge what they are capable of and carry that out. We had an incident on Tuesday where a group of people were advised of weather and we recommended cancelling by email beforehand, and they were also told again on their arrival that we recommend cancelling or re-booking. They insisted ...on going anyway. They didn't have fun, and were overwhelmed by the wind as the staff had warned them about. They could not take responsibility for their decision, so we'll have to make the decision for people from now on. Should we cancel your reservation for weather, it's with your safety and enjoyment in mind. We simply can't trust people anymore who lay the blame on us on reviews, social media or whatnot because they made a poor decision. Thanks for your understanding. See more
