Here is what you need to know about sea kayak travel in Clayoquot Sound: VARGAS ISLAND and Ahousaht Territory is CLOSED for Sea Kayaking. It is listed as Open by BC Parks. Until the territory is opened unanimously by Ahousaht First Nation and BC Parks we encourage all to avoid non-essential travel in Ahousaht Territory. In the mean time...We are still OPEN in our TOFINO location for Sea Kayaking day tours and rentals operating in Tla-o-qui-aht Territory, while adhering to ...recommendations for health and safety protocols. This annoncement is in support of the Ahousaht Nations request to help protect the health and safety of the people in its remote community. The Ahousaht guardians will be patrolling the territory by boat while Ahousaht territory remains in Phase 1. This picture is of a permit book for future camping in Ahousaht Territory.
