GREETINGS! Hello! A fun thing happened recently...a client called in and asked me to create a "fun box" and mail it to her. It was her way of supporting some of her favorite small businesses. A stroke of genius, if I ever heard one.... I thought this might be something fun other clients might want to do. It was fun for me to curate a box of art supplies for this very wonderful client, and it will be fun for her when she receives it and gets to creating. This would be a really great idea for a Christmas gift too! If this is something you would like to do, give me a call. Paint for Joy! would be ever so grateful for this kind of support. Also, now that we've been limited in what we can do inhouse for classes, we are now re-visiting the idea of online classes, perhaps with Zoom or some other format. Greetings! Today Paint for Joy! turns 19 years old. When we started the business on Sept 1, 2001, I knew I was starting a new chapter, and a new exciting adventure, but I didn't know what that adventure would look like. 19 years later, I am so grateful to our wonderful clientele for their support and encouragement. It is due to your faithfulness, and a big helping of stubbornness on my part that Paint for Joy! is where it is today.... So from the bottom of my heart...."THANK YOU". Hello Paint for Joy! listers! How are you doing? It seems so weird to have the stop closed. I am trying to get into a routine at home, but it is a work in progress. I wanted to hop on today to express a HEARTFELT THANK YOU to the clients who have reached out to me to purchase supplies while we have been shut down. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!... Your support means the world to me, and I will give you a big hug when we can get closer than 6 feet! if anyone needs anything, please reach out to me at [email protected]. Let's all band together to support each other during this unprecented time.

We have decided to close for a bit to prevent spreading the Covid-19 virus. Effective Friday, March 20, 2020 we will be CLOSED. This closure is only TEMPORARY. If we are closed, it will be one less place for people to go to leave or pick up germs of any kind.... I hope to be able to make a decision as to when we will re-open closer to the beginning of APRIL . I will try to keep you updated as much as possible. Thank you. Debbie's class, Canola Field scheduled for Sat, March 28, 2020 has been postponed, and will be re-scheduled when we re-open. During everything going on around you, please remember the benefits you find in your artistic endeavors, whether you do your art at home or somewhere else. Another thing to keep in mind during the current time is that small businesses will really need your help to weather this storm. Purchase gift certificates, do take out orders, find ways to help your favorite local business stay viable; in our case, purchase some supplies, or get your picture framed. Big multinational companies have the resources to ride it out....your favorite small business may not.
