Hellllllo Painters!! Long time no post! I hope you have all been well...and you are gearing up for summer time!! Time has been flying at the studio doing all the " behind the scenes stuff " and I haven't had much time to paint anything new for a while!!!... Today I took some time...and was feeling I wanted to go back to my roots and just paint with a palette knife only I'd love to have you join me for this one at The Studio I promise you can do it...and it will be FUN!!! So this past week has been a tad crazy but the fun and relaxing part was getting to paint with all these lovely people Some new painters, some returning...and all of them did a fabulous job in creating a unique piece they can be proud to hang up at home Thank you ladies for coming out to paint with me at The Studio, every class makes a difference for Steve and I, we really do appreciate you Hang those babies with pride!! ... This weekend I painted with two amazing groups of people at The Creative Studio Saturday Night was a fundraiser for Cookes Martial Arts Group & Sunday afternoon was my public class, both painted one of my new paintings...The Tree of Life Wow!!! I was sooooo happy to see all these beautiful trees come to life...all the colour combos just blew me away... Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend, it was a pleasure to paint with you. Alrighty Painters This one is a SPECIAL ONE I have decided to paint this butterfly and give 100% of the proceeds back to 2 great causes ... 1.) $15 from each seat will be donated locally to The Northern Cancer Fund on behalf of The Creative and Laura Fralicks efforts with The Travelling Painting that we are currently hosting in our Studio until the end of April. 2.) Spring is coming painters...soooo how about an Oval Shaped Cherry Blossom Painting?? I special ordered these canvases and I just love them!!!! Shall I make this one a class??? ... You tell me....yay or nay?

I think I’m desperate for spring to arrive lol...I painted this butterfly piece today with -sponges - plastic wrap -palette knives ... No brush allowed lol! I’m thinking a class is March-April...what do you guys think??

Soooo this weekend I had the joy of painting two of my fun bird paintings with two different groups Love Birds was Friday Night with a wonderful group of ladies...they did a fabulous fabulous job, what a pleasure it was Friends was on Saturday night and it was a family/friend private b-day party night complete with cupcake cake and all kinds of goodies!! Their paintings turned out so freaking cute I could barely handle it!!! ...
