Sadly this community church, St. Mary Magdalene that has sat proudly upon the top of Pill Hill here in Dorset, has closed its doors as many of you know. The Mu...seum was contacted by the church and we have picked up and saved many items for our archives. We are very happy that we could preserve some of this church for our community. Any other time we would have had to say no, sorry no space, but with our new building extension which includes a new archival storage room we could say yes! We don't know of the churches future, but hope the building will be preserved somehow as it is one of a few of our oldest buildings in our community.
