Got the red light at the Kaleden scale this morning. Turns out the officer just wanted too take a picture of my truck. That’s the first DOT stop for a photo-o...p I’ve had, however the last 3 weeks he made the 36th picture that’s been taken spanning BC-AB & US PNW, and countless others just asking questions. It seems Cummins has many fans out in the world besides myself. Make me angry, ‘in this case many tens of thousands of dollars in cost, downtime for my truck measured in months & major rebuild work on a ‘certified’ crate motor inside 1 year with 0 warranty’, and you’ll be able too see it from space. Cummins website does a great job of running down the name of independent shops and mechanics, yet no small business that wants to remain a business could possibly treat customers with such disrespect. Cummins on the other hand will possibly do enough damage to their reputation it affects their bottom line, they’ll just go hat in hand to government for taxpayer dollars because ‘we’re too big to fail’.
