Some of our employees helped raise funds for the Food Bank at St. Vincent Place Sault Ste. Marie over the holidays and set a goal of $5,000. After donating over $2,000 of their hard-earned money to the initiative, our management was so impressed with the generosity that we decided to join the initiative and help bring the group to their fundraising goal bringing the grand total to over $6,000. On November 29, we held our annual joint Holiday Party with Pioneer Construction Inc. and Fisher Wavy Inc. employees across the Sault Ste Marie & Algoma areas. The companies used the Christmas Party as a fundraiser for Pauline's Place - a local charity supporting disadvantaged and displaced youth, women and families. The donation was graciously matched by the companies, bringing the total to $6,000. Then our team was at it again yesterday as we held our annual Potluck lunch which is organized annually by Linda Lewis. At the PotLuck Lunch, our team raised $1,000 for The Period Purse Sault Ste. Marie organization and the companies matched it to bring the total donation to $2,000. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us support our local organizations this holiday season.

This time of year really gets us into the holiday season. Since tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, we have decided to support Pioneer Construction Inc. & Fisher Wavy Inc.'s food drive by honouring to donate 1 can for every item collected for the St. Vincent Place Sault Ste. Our crew is out working hard in this beautiful weather to get the new addition on the Toromont Cat building that is in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario! Can't wait to see the final product!

Yesterday, our president Terry Rainone along with Pioneer Construction Inc. And Fisher Wavy Inc. In Sault Ste. Marie came together to support the Every Breakfast Counts campaign. The purpose of the Every Breakfast Counts campaign is to provide breakfast for those children in the community that don’t get breakfast during the school vacation periods. During the school year needy children are fed at school but once summer vacation starts then there is no breakfast served. The ...goal of the campaign was to raise enough money to feed the kids for the summer of 2018. The campaign has been so successful, thanks in part to our donation, that there is enough money for this summer, March break and next summer! 100% of all money raised goes right to the breakfast program - there is no administration fees charged by the City, United Way or Algoma Family Services. This is a great community program and we are so proud to be able to support them by donation $10,000 between all 4 parties.
