What a great few hours skiing! It turns out that I am a proficient enough skier to carry my camera AND stop midway on the slopes to take photos without sliding backwards down the hill. First attempt at catching some images on the hill :) I did topple over at the top of the black diamond as the kids cruised on down. I got back up and carefully inched my way down. Lol.

What a beautiful afternoon we spent with some great friends out in the fresh air! Skating, roasting hotdogs and visiting (also a little snowshoeing and sledding that I didn't document with photos- which was also so much fun). What a wonderful day! Thanks Amanda Zenner and family for having us :)

On December 18th we gathered together 4 generations to make some buns and cinnamon buns. The house smelled delicious as the kids drifted in and out of the kitchen to check on the progress, to lend a hand and learn some skills from their elders. Thank-you so much to my grandmother-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and niece for coming over to bake with my kids :) What a special and delicious gathering!

I had the opportunity to hang out with this family recently on a very chilly Sunday. This beautiful family were true troopers to take on the cold and look amazing doing it! This family is dear to my heart- I spent many hours in my teenage years babysitting for my aunt and uncle when their 3 kids were small. Everyone is all grown up and the next generation has started for this family :)
