Puppy Socialisation and Pack Walk Rate: $10.50 Day: Wednesday Time:10am... Location:2008 Pauls Terrace This group is great for both puppies and owners helping you to develop a well-adjusted confident dog. You and your puppy will learn how to interact with other dogs, people, and objects. You will also gain a better understanding of how to support him/her in developing proper social skills and good play behaviours in a safe and motivational environment. Learning to read your dog's body language will help you determine what they are telling you. Behaviours such as house training, bite inhibition, jumping up, as well as other topics such as crate training, grooming, health and nutrition, toy play and exercise will be discussed. ADVANCED OBEDIENCE Date:January 7th Location:Cordova Bay Elementary School Length: 1 hour for 6 weeks Rate: $225.00 + tax Dogs love to work. A dog who is using its brain is happier and more confident. Training your dog in Advanced Obedience will take them to the next level and give you the ability to become a strong leader whether they are on or off leash. Through positive training you will develop a dog that values you over anything else. Your dog will love you for it. Topics covered: Recall with distractions, advanced healing on and off leash, holding a down and standing stay with high distractions (other dogs chasing balls and toys, recalling away from playing dogs). Also, commands on the move, i.e. taking a down and standing stay command while in motion (chasing another dog or chasing a toy). PRIVATE OBEDIENCE Length: 1 hour for 5 weeks Rate:$325.00 + tax Private training offers the curriculum of group training for puppies who are to young too join a group class, owners whose schedules conflict with group classes or a dog that is challenged by a group setting. It also provides an opportunity to work on specific training or issues and develop an individual plan for you and your dog. DAY TRAINING (For Obedience Training, Reactivity, Social Issues, Fear Issues or Rescue Dogs ) Rate: $180 + tax for 1 day $150 + tax per day for package of 3 days Whether you have a dog that is reactive, has been rescued, has social issues, is difficult to train or have a schedule that interferes with training, in house day training removes the barriers of having a confident, well trained dog. Day training allows you to drop your dog off. They will be put through multiple short training sessions throughout the day. This method accelerates the rate of learning and produces great results. To help build confidence, your dog will be socialised in many different environments. At the end of the day the skills that the dog has learned will be transferred to you, the owner.
