If you use shelf stable parm on your pasta I'm not sure if we can stay friends. This grater just grated a COSTCO sized chunk of parmesan in less than 10 minutes including cleaning the grater. This tool is one I can't be without now that I have it. Can be used for thin slicing also. From cheese to carrots for muffins to zuchinni. I use this baby weekly.
