Ham and cheese stuffed buns. Pepperoni and cheddar rolls, fresh bannock, potato salad, broccoli pasta salad, breakfast sandwich with fried potatoes. Dinner buns. Now starting pizza subs and lasagna. That’s my morning!

All of this craziness started close to a year ago. About when Covid first hit us. Since there was not many places for truck drivers to get a decent meal, I decided to feed them for free. I’m far from rich. My daughter and I were struggling but getting by. I had food in the freezer. Well, that didn’t last long til someone reported me to Interior Health. They told me I couldn’t cook food in my house and even give it away. Some of you have been with me since back them. Thanks for hanging in, lol. Then I was offered the food truck for an amazing price. That made me legal, lol . I truly am a bit of a rebel, haha. Always have been. meanwhile I still kept feeding truckers. I met some great guys during that time. One of my favs stopped in today and I cooked for him. It was so nice to see him.

WOW! WOW! There is so much love in my world! I got up and started making cabbage rolls this morning and the love started pouring in. Pam, showed up, then my bea...utiful friends from the coast, Jason Jacques Butler and his beautiful lady, Marlene McAllister Bosgra, love you guys!!! Then we went and visited with Dann Meade, and she completely spoiled me, , . THEN!!! Went to my sisters, Beverly Tanner-Fry for a wonderful dinner with her family, and my parents, Erma Tanner. Where I was very spoiled all over again. Then to come home to see all of the time you all took out of your day to send your wishes. It has been a day of many happy tears. I want you all to know how much I appreciate every single one of you! Thank you all !!!!This has been the best birthday in quite some time! See more

Do a big shop, come back home and pack it all in the house up all the stairs, and then tackle the dishes from all this big mess. Its Fish Wednesday! 1 pc, COD loin, potato wedges, coleslaw, tartar sauce $15, 2 pc $18. Because it is loin, in my opinion, the best part of the fish, it is a more compact piece of meat. Not those big flat pieces that take up the entire plate that you get in most places. lightly battered and cooked to greatness! Im excited. I love it! Mmmm!

We will be getting a list together soon for orders for Christmas baking. I know it is a ways off but getting myself prepared lol. Wondering if anyone would be interested in Christmas fruit cakes as it would be time to think about getting them started also. Personally I don’t like them but some do. One of my husbands loved them. Had to make them every year for him. My sister loves them. A couple years ago she was showing me a fruit cake someone had given her so I asked to see it closer, when she handed it to me I tossed it in the garbage, lol. Good thing is was wrapped well and she is fast, . Lol

Ok, this is embarrassing. But if you know me at all, I just put it all out there, lol. Been so crazy busy, got my days all screwed up. Made a big cake today that was meant for next weekend. . 12 years ago I made this huge wedding cake and delivered it all the way out to Alkali. That was quite the trip. Lol. Making another cake for this couple today. Happy Anniversary! See you soon!!

I know this sounds crazy. Every day we sell out, early. We are working hard, lol. It just never seems to be enough. Today big roaster full of cabbage rolls, lasagna and 3 pans of lazy perogies and still sold out. Plus big orders that went out the door and a cake. Thank you all!!

First big order out the door! My breakfast, taste testing the cabbage rolls. Yep, they pass the test, lol . Stove is full again, just about got one full shift in. Second shift starting soon, lol. Second batch of lazy perogies in the works, second batch of lasagna. Then pizza will be available later this afternoon.

This all started out with me trying to feed truckers when the world shut down, . Throughout that time I met some truly wonderful people who I am sure will be friends for a long time. Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support and kindness. Now, today is prep day for tomorrow. Wont be putting anything out there today as we are swamped with orders for Chinese food tomorrow. Get your orders in if you are interested. Chicken/Bacon Ranch Pizza!

Meat lovers, hot out of the oven. Didnt really plan this but I guess it is pizza day. . Actually every day this week will be pizza day amongst other things added to the mix. But pizza every day.

After making jam all morning, loaded my little boy dog and took a drive. My favourite place to be, out in the bush. He gets to run free. Seen a grouse and then he chased another out of the bushes. I definitely need a gun! Lol. Love grouse! Fish were jumping and big ones! Strawberry plants still have flowers. Lots of smoke rolling in. we had a great time. Now, cooking for Tawn!
