In alignment with our partners at Lake Louise, we are implementing a reservation system for Lake Louise Plus Card holders in effect from December 26. For full details and to reserve, visit: https://www.panoram...aresort.com/llpc Our LLPC reservations are open for Boxing Day onwards.
The Summit Chair and Taynton Bowl out to Never Never Land are now open.
Keep your eyes open for the moose over in the Sunbird area today! Obviously, keep your distance and don’t approach the moose.
Opening of the Summit Chair and terrain will be delayed today. Over the past two days, several skiers and boarders have breached our terrain closures and ventured between and under where our Avalanche Techs are actively using explosives, forcing them to abort their work. These thoughtless actions can have severe consequences. By entering closed terrain you are risking your life and that of others. Our team must be able to carry out the necessary avalanche control, safely an...d uninterrupted. It is for this reason that the Summit Chair and terrain will remain closed until their work is complete this morning. Please don't make stupid decisions. The resort does not tolerate these careless actions. If you duck a terrain closure, your pass will be revoked and a resort ban implemented. Avalanche Canada has a special warning in effect for much of Western Canada. The avalanche risk is considerable at this time: https://www.avalanche.ca/map/forecasts/purcells
Yesterday was all time! It was great to see so many of you safely enjoying this incredible snow. As we head into the busier holiday period, here is a quick reminder of things you can do to make sure you have a smooth day on the mountain. Plan Ahead: Day lift tickets must be purchased online or by phone. Get yours in advance to ensure you can go. Masks are a must, pack an extra just in case. Reserve a table in one of our restaurants or order takeout through our website and di...ne back at your condo, chalet or car. Arrive early for prime parking or park at Greywolf Golf Course for additional slopeside spots. Check driving conditions at drivebc.ca and our Facebook page for updates. Room to Move: We know you are eager to shred, but we all need a little extra space this season. The lift lines will move at the same pace either way. Plan your stops at the base to avoid busy times. Be kind to our staff when they ask you to keep moving and to not gather for terrain openings. Yes, we’ll keep reminding you to pull your face covering up over both your mouth and nose too. Be Patient: Lines and wait times will be longer than normal. Be prepared for this, especially on big snow days. You’re in the mountains and it is going to be a great day. Slow down, breath deep. This goes for driving too, be sure to take care on mountain roads. Looking for more tips? Check out our know before you go blog: https://www.panoramaresort.com/panorama-tod//opening-2021/ : chazzamarshall via Instagram : Michael Brush
