*As of November 24, we are suspending all group classes until these restrictions are lifted. We are still offering Private Family Open Studio. What we are doing in our space: - We will take the temperatures of the kids and ask a health screening questionnaire before entry. - Disinfectant wipes/pumps will be available for everyone upon entering the studio. ... - As per the new face mask policy, we will have them in the studio for the kids to wear. - For drop-offs and pick-ups, please respect physical distancing guidelines. - We will require all children to wash their hands or sanitize immediately upon entry to the studio at our hand washing station. - Tables have been arranged with a maximum separation of the kids in mind, with only two chairs per table, providing for 2 meters of separation (for a maximum class size of eight kids unless otherwise from the same family) - There will be no sharing of crafts, paintbrushes, or materials. Each child will have his/her materials to use. - All aprons worn by the kids will be washed after each use. - All shared sensory bins are temporarily removed from the studio area to maintain 2 meters between kids and no sharing of materials. *** We have purchased an electrostatic disinfectant sprayer from Victory Innovations. This equipment provides a positive electric charge to an extremely safe and effective disinfectant, Vital Oxide (Watch video). - Vital Oxide is safer and gentler than bleach and many other antiseptics and disinfectant, but it remains an effective anti-microbial and is recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency as effective against coronaviruses https://www.epa.gov//list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars - In-between classes, the studio, and washroom will be disinfected entirely using the sprayer. - The front door handle and glass will be disinfected throughout the day. Open Studio (Oh-pen Stu-dee-oh) /noun/. Workroom, which is made accessible to all-comers, where artistic or creative work can be viewed and created collaboratively. We’ve been collaborating from 2m away since we’ve re-opened in July, and with the recent announcement that were made this afternoon, we are trying to do our part to help by not offering any group classes. ... Our Art Explorers Class will be offered online for our December registrations. We will still have Private Family Open Studio (but only for immediate family) We will also continue to have our Creativity @ Home Kits for purchase. We will continue to do our part in keeping our families and the public safe
