Here in Toronto, there is snow on the ground and many of us are struggling as we adjust to another lockdown. It feels like the perfect time to re-visit this movement workshop from last month! Whether movement is already a part of your artistic practice or you're looking for a new way to get moving at home, we highly suggest getting on your feet and trying out the tips and techniques Nickeshia shared with us. We hope it helps you to stay grounded during this transitional time.

We LOVE this new initiative from Tanisha Taitt! Pepper Pot was originally conceived as a monthly party at Cahoots' studio for all BIPOC theatre school students in the GTA. Since the realities of the pandemic meant that meeting in person would no longer be possible, they've embraced the opportunity to invite BIPOC theatre students from coast-to-coast to the (Zoom) party! This is an incredible opportunity to build a national network of BIPOC friends & potential collaborat...ors (all before graduating)! Details for the first meeting (Fri. Nov. 27) can be found on Cahoots Theatre's FB page!

Our next #ShowUsYour20 reflection comes from our Artistic Producer Kanika Ambrose: "All I remember about being 20 was that I thought I was pretty hot. I loved wearing short shorts and short skirts with super high heels. Now I wear running shoes...and loafers... several pairs of loafers." Are you #TeamHighHeels or #TeamLoafers?... Don't forget that YOU can #ShowUsYour20 by investing $20 in the next generation of theatre artists! Join our incredible network of supporters today: https://bit.ly/34oXI6c
