BLACK LIVES MATTER! The details are finalized for our #blm fundraiser, being held with, and at, @wavemakerbrew. Event proceeds in support of @blm_wr and @globalyouthnetwork. What is it? It's a food/beer pairing created by @allsauced Intoxicating Recipes, featuring small 'tapas-sized' servings of food, and each serving comes with a 4-oz pour of the beer @allsauced used when creating the food item. Hey everyone! Hope you are all safe and healthy during these challenging times. We are, fortunately, but lots of people are struggling more than they did already. We are finally organizing our second event for charity, and this time it's a walk-a-thon done by the staff at Tecumseh Public School in Burlington, with the proceeds going to the Halton Food4Kids chapter and to the Tecumseh Family Relief Fund. https://tec-takes-steps-for-kids.raisely.com/

Well the dust has finally settled after our inaugural event on April 20th - An Evening of Gaelic Music, featuring Robyn Carrigan and Jenny Melvin, which is wher...e the shout-outs must begin. Additionally we are grateful to Gail Rappolt and everyone from the First Unitarian Church of Hamilton for their help with the venue and on the evening of the concert. Finally, special acknowledgement to Jennifer Wallace and family, Brian Reid, and Merit Brewing for their generosity in providing door prizes. The event raised over $1200 for the Eva Rothwell Centre, some of which was donated from people's contributions while at the event, and some of which came from the event itself. Here is Paradigm Shift Productions co-founder Steve Viau giving a huge cheque to Sam Campanella, Executive Director of the Eva Rothwell Centre.
