Blue Stripe Challenge: To the Parents in our Virtual Program. We are excited to introduce a new set of stripes, aimed to better our students, their family, the community in which we live, and the world at large. Your at-home stripe kits should arrive at your address before the end of the week. The Blue Stripe is a temporary stripe that students can earn at home by completing a weekly challenge. We are trusting Parents to award the stripe when the challenge has been complete...d. Students can earn a maximum of 4 blue stripes in a month. If a student earns all 4 blue stripes, they will win a prize. The stripes are then reset at the end of each 4 week cycle. Blue Stripes are completely voluntary and have no influence on the student graduating to their next rank. Blue Stripes will be placed on the opposite side of the belt from the Rank Stripes, starting at the end of the belt. We hope you enjoy the challenges. Let’s make it a great year! January 4th - 10th: Horse Stance Endurance. Students must hold a Horse Stance for the entire duration in which they brush their teeth. Post a picture in our private FB group if you’d like to share the fun. They only have to do this one time this week. PRIZE: This month we will be awarding a custom Paradigm Martial Arts pin to students that successfully complete all 4 weekly challenges. We will also donate $5.00 for every student that earns a pin to Southlake Foundation’s COVID-19 action fund. Staff wellness is supported through this fund and by donating directly we are guaranteed the money will go towards its intended purpose. Thank you!

Hey Team! As the province continues to reopen we are having new guidelines passed down from our PSO, and are seeing an ease of certain restrictions. As such, students will now be allowed to have contact with people in the same household, as well as those in the same social bubble. We will continue our gradual approach with limited contact and no sparring as of yet. Family classes will allow a member in the same household to train with their child in class. Only one family m...ember per child and kids MUST have a partner for this class. Pairs classes will allow Adults to train with a member in the same household or someone in the same social circle. We will be keeping lists of pairs and will only allow a strict number of partners. Any members currently on hold that wish to start training again may now contact us to get started. We will continue to offer Solo and Virtual classes. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding with any schedule changes week to week.
