As of today until the end of February the shop will be open by Appointment only (including Nail trims). If there are no bookings I will not be open. You can still message me on Facebook or call the shop for an appointment as I will be checking messages often but I will not be sitting in the shop any more if there is no one booked.

Paradise Pet Care will be closed early Thursday January 23rd and all day Friday January 24th. I will reopen Saturday January 25th at 11:00 a.m. as I am away at a conference. Sorry we missed you.

Due to the extreme cold and clients cancelling appointments Paradise Pet Care will be closed early Wednesday January 15th and all day Thursday January 16th. I will reopen Friday January 17th at 8am.

Just sent home the last groomed dog of 2019, due to my Tuesday morning dogs cancelling I will be taking my Christmas holidays as of today instead of Tuesday at noon. Hoping everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year and we will see you in 2020.

Paradise Pet Care will be closed between Christmas and New Years due to no bookings, we will be open Christmas Eve until noon and then reopen on Jan 2nd on regular hours.

Sorry am not feeling well today and also my food order was delayed until today so will be taking a snow day from the shop. Just a reminder that if you want your dog groomed for Christmas to book soon as the 2 weeks before Christmas are starting to book up but there is plenty of room to book in the next week or so.

The shop will be closed Tuesday December 3rd as I have my Chrisco Food order arriving at home and have to be there. We will reopen on Wednesday December 4th. Sorry for any inconvenience.

As I have been burning the candles at both ends the last few weeks with work and running home to tend to an injured horse and my only dog for tomorrow rescheduled I will be taking a personal day, therefore, we will be closed tomorrow, Saturday Nov 16th. I will be back to work as usual Tuesday Nov. 19th @ 8 am.

About a month ago I posted that things were getting slim here at the shop and that if it continued I would be forced to close the doors. I would like to assure everyone that at this point I am not leaving Wabamun. I have had a bit more business and October is looking better, but all I really ask is for recommendations to people when they ask, the more people that hear about the shop the better. Also I am aware that the shelves are looking a little bare in the shop, I unfortun...ately had to incur the costs of many of the food products I brought in going over the best before date and so at this time am trying to figure out what is selling and only restock that when I can and not be stuck with product that no one buys and that goes out of date at my cost. I have stated I love my clientele and do not want to go back to being an employee somewhere, but if the date ever came that something had to change I would let everyone know and not just leave everyone High and dry. I am doing what I can to try to get the word out about the shop so that business gets better. Also if you do not have pets but need bookkeeping or Tax work done or know someone else who might need these services that is work I can be doing when I am not busy grooming. I would like to thank everyone who continues to support me and I hope to be in Wabamun for a very long time. See more

I would like to apologize in advance to my clients. Over the next few weeks there may be times when the shop may close early or open late if I have no bookings as I have an injured horse at home whose prognosis is guarded and I will be spending as much time as I can to work at getting her healthy again. Also if i seem a little not like myself on the phone or in person please do not take it personally, it is just the long hours and the worry over my fur baby that sometimes gets in the way. Here was my visitor, Sasha, today learning to get used to being bathed and blow dried. I try to make the little ones as comfortable as possible while getting used to the high speed dryer.

I love all my clients and being here in Wabamun running my shop. I am often told they are glad I am here and to please never leave. Here is the issue I have right now, I need more work so if you know anyone you can recommend to come to the shop please do so. If a new client tells me they were sent here by a existing client I put a 10% discount for nest visit on the referring client. At the rate of business I have received in September I cannot survive much longer, I need to make a living here and right now that is not happening so please help me with recommendations or I will not be able to keep the doors open, and I really do want to keep them open and continue to service my wonderful clients.

Brought home a couple souvenirs from the International ring at Spruce Meadows. Will put them in my shop this week as a nice decorative touch.

For my customers who wonder why I snuck away from work early today I had this amazing event to go to..... have a great long weekend and I will see you back at the shop on Wednesday.

It is a weirdly quiet time right now at Paradise Pet Care so if your fur baby is due for a spa day now is the time to call, you may actually get in sooner than usual.

All decked out for the parade this morning, we chose old country fair as our theme this year.

Paradise Pet Care is closed tomorrow, Saturday August 17, come and see us in the Darwell Ag Fair Parade tomorrow morning or look for us around the ag grounds during the fair. We will be back as usual Tuesday morning.

It appears I will not be able to make the 2 local parades on Saturday so the shop will be open after all. We will still be taking the Tuesday as our long weekend day so next week will be open Wednesday and Thursday only as on Friday- Sunday is the Darwell Ag Society's Barnburner Music Fest and Tractor Pull, come on down there, have fun and say hi.

I am forced to implement a new policy at Paradise Pet Care. Due to the increasing number of no show appointments that is unfair to people trying to get their dogs in, if you no-show more than once without a call or explanation beyond your control that made you unable to make your appointment than you will be required to pay at time of booking to book your dog. Please be courteous to other patrons and if you cannot make your appointment than call and cancel at least 24 hrs in advance.

The shop is closed today but if you are near Onoway come support us in the Heritage Days Parade. Parade starts at 11:00am. Casper our mascot and his uncle Markie will be there with us.

Just to let customers know we are closed early today and closed tomorrow as I am attending the Western Buying Show to check out new foods and items available to carry in the store for your pets.

I am sorry to all my regular customers but if you have not booked an appointment for a grooming before Christmas I am fully booked and cannot take in any more. Also I strongly suggest you call before coming in for a nail trim, although this service is normally drop in I am very busy the next few days and may not have time when you come in to stop and trim nails. I am open a few days between Christmas and New Years for grooming and have room then. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my Clients that have supported me this year and I look forward to seeing you all in 2019.

We are open o Wednesday Dec 12th for pet supplies only and will be available for grooming services again starting on Thursday.
