Just over an entire year & we are still battling the Covid19 pandemic. This has caused many, including myself, to be out of work because our services are considered non-essential. BUT you can work if you do beauty services for Film & TV. We hear on every news outlet to wear a mask, wash your hands, don't touch your face, social distance etc., but one of these preventative measures cannot be adhered to because #1 we are working directly with talent & #2 talent cannot mask whi...le doing makeup. We can however put protocols in place to keep both ourselves & others around us safe & prevent the spread of Covid19. Keeping up with all the new information that is changing each day, numbers rising, so many losing their lives to this horrible infection & even who they call "long haulers", will allow for safer practices NOT just during the pandemic, but moving forward. In part of the certification process it said, "act as if everyone around you is Covid positive." Now some of you may say that is a bit extreme. I'm here to tell you that it is completely eye opening. I'm not telling you to walk on eggshells, but I am telling you to be more cautious. Wearing a mask, PROPERLY, will help keep everyone safe or at the very least reduce the spread.
