They are both looking for an apartment or a camp to rent until the can get settled.... They have 1 cat and no kids. Let me know if one of you can think of something. Thanks

Here are some of the new adjustments for our fall 2020 classes. It will take time for all of us to get in this routine. But in the end it will be worth it. Cant wait to see you all again. 1) An Instructor will be at the door WITH the sign-in sheet to ensure students have NONE of the... following: 1. fever 2. new cough or a cough that is getting worse 3. sore throat 4. runny nose 5. headache 6. new onset fatigue 7. new onset muscle pain 8. diarrhea 9. loss of taste or smell 10. discoloration of fingers/toes 11. travelled outside of the Atlantic provinces in the last 14 days or been in contact with anyone who has. 2) If the student responds with all NOs, the instructor checks off the student name(s) on the sign-in sheet, and the student can then enter through the Main door (see arrows on the floor for direction of travel). DO NOT LINGER IN THE MAIN ENTRANCE ROOM. Any affirmative answers and the student will not be granted access to the studio before a 14 DAY absence or a confirmed Negative Covid-19 test. 3) Students enter and place shoes/bags together in one spot against the wall. Parents are no longer permitted to remain at the studio during class. 4) students MUST bring their water bottle to their designated section of room/floor and keep it with them against the wall. Room 2 has been marked with the designated areas and instructors will ensure that there is 6ft of distance between students EXCEPT those students that are in one family/friends bubble (ie. siblings, etc) who can remain closer. 5) At end of class, students will help clean the floor. Then exit the class one by one. This must be done right away so the other students can start on time. 6) the bathrooms should NOT be used unless necessary. Students need to arrive dressed for class. If the tape (seal) on the bathroom doors is broken, the bathroom needs to be re-cleaned and new tape applied so that it is clear it has been cleaned. At the instructors discretion this can be the responsibility of the student needed to use the facilities. 7) all surfaces used are sprayed by students and/or instructors at the end of class so that the studio is ready for use with the next session. Sanitizing: Disinfectant is applied to the floor after class once it will not be walked on again. All handles and knobs sprayed. All other walls, materials are to be sprayed and wiped down AS USED. This is the responsibility of the students as much as the instructors so please inform an instructor if something was used.

Hello everyone. Here are some if the new rules that we will need to follow, until further notice. 1) An Instructor will be at the door WITH the sign-in sheet to ensure students have NONE of the following:... 1. fever 2. new cough or a cough that is getting worse 3. sore throat 4. runny nose 5. headache 6. new onset fatigue 7. new onset muscle pain 8. diarrhea 9. loss of taste or smell 10. discoloration of fingers/toes 11. travelled outside of the Atlantic provinces in the last 14 days or been in contact with anyone who has. 2) If the student responds with all NOs, the instructor checks off the student name(s) on the sign-in sheet, and the student can then enter through the Main door (see arrows on the floor for direction of travel). DO NOT LINGER IN THE MAIN ENTRANCE. Any affirmative answers and the student will not be granted access to the studio before a 14 DAY absence or a confirmed Negative Covid-19 test. 3) Students enter and place shoes/bags together in one spot against the wall 6ft apart from others equipment. Parents are no longer permitted to remain at the studio during class. 4) students MUST bring their water bottle to their designated section of room floor and keep it with them against the wall. The Room has been marked with the designated areas and instructors will ensure that there is 6ft of distance between students EXCEPT those students that are in one family/friends bubble (ie. siblings, etc) who can remain closer. 5) At end of class, students exit the room into the hallway and back into the Main entrance (follow the arrows). Avoid the studio floor with outdoor footwear. 8) all surfaces used are sprayed by students and/or instructors at the end of class so that the studio is ready for use with the next session. This is the responsibility of the students as much as the instructors so please inform an instructor if something was used. Ajustments will be made if required. Thanks Marc

Hi everyone. Hope you are all well. We will be starting registrations and renuals, a few weeks before classes start on September 10, to keep the physical distancing. ... On Wedenesday August 26 from 6 pm - 7 pm it will be kids jujitsu registrations. 7:30 pm- 830 pm Kids Karate registrations. On Thursday August 27, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, adults class registrations and renuals. We are only taking 10 students per class max. I have a list of rules and recommendations ready. But I will post it later. New classes times. Sundays. 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm. Kids Jujitsu. 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm adults class. Tuesdays. 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm. Kids JJ. 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm. Kids karate. Thursdays 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm. Kids Karate. 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm adults class. To maximize time for cleaning between classes, and preventing large groups this was the best solution possible. The adults classes will combine for now until we can find a better solution. We will need everyone to participate with the new rules. Every student will need to help clean the club after every class. We practice this years ago, and now its time to get back with good habits. More info to come. Thanks Marc

Always try to make yourself better.

Paradis Martial Arts 09.06.2020

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a great summer. Just a heads up, on how we will be managing the classes in September, if nothing drastically changes in NB.... Considering social distancing, we will be making adjustments to our teaching methods. So maximum 10 students per class. We are not taking any new students, unless we have fewer than 10. Parents will be asked not to enter the studio if possible. Unless you have questions for me. We will have hands disinfectant in the studio. The floor will be cleaned between classes BY THE STUDENTS! That was practiced regularly "back in the day". Nothing wrong with learning how to clean! Considering social distancing. We will be practicing no contact training. So Jujitsu may be a bit different. But for now that is all we can do. Of course if you or your kids dont feel well... follow the regular Covid 19 protocols. I will need to know who will be returning in September. Just for us to make the necessary adjustments. Classe times will be changed. Will post changes in a few minutes. If you have any questions, please message me. Thanks. Marc

Paradis Martial Arts 17.03.2020

Hi everyone. Hope you are well. Just a few updates concerning the studio.... We should be reopening this September as scedual. All safety precautions will be taken, to make sure we are all safe. I am considering not taking any new students in the kids classes just to keep the numbers low. We still have a bunch of t-shirts left over from the last 2 years. So we are selling them at $15 each. I will post all the available sizes and colors. And I will post the days to pick them up soon. Being a health care worker, kinda puts me in a unusual situation. My priority must be public safety. So I realy need to be careful on when we open and how we operate. The available t-shirts will be posted tonight. Enjoy you summer. Soke-Dai Marc

Soke-Dai Marc Paradis Hi gang. So I made the decision that he would no longer have a live class on FB. If there is no restriction, we will be open in September. This will give me the opportunity to do some renovations in the studio. And especially on my property. It is also possible that my working hours may be changed. So I would be incapable of being consistent. I miss you all. See you in September. Soke-Dai Marc Paradis

Paradis Martial Arts 01.03.2020
