I just discovered a Facebook ability I didn't know about! Did you know you can create "Collections" of saved posts on FB? I didn't. This is a fantastic way to organize posts you want to share with your clients or to create content on a FB page or group. You can bet I am going to be playing with this one today! I learned early in life that the most important thing to change is myself. That is the one thing I actually have power over. To that end, I have been trying to listen to, or watch something motivational each day. This podcast gave me a lot to think about. It made me realize one of the biggest barriers I have to succeed financially is my attitude. It was ingrained in me from childhood that wanting to be successful, or have money was somehow morally wrong. It was greedy, selfish, and just bad. It is mostly on a deep, subconscious level, so I was not even really aware of it. So I think its vitally important to change this view, in order to change this aspect of my life. Does anyone else have this preconditioned mindset they are fighting?

Now that I have all my facebook contacts all loaded on to a spreadsheet, the next project is to go through all of them and sort them a bit. I am going to weed out the unproductive and stagnant contacts, then sort out the rest into useful groups, so that I can fine tune my focus. I have a ton of people to go through, so I imagine this will take a while. Hopefully, when I am done, I will only have positive, useful and productive contacts left. Being successful in your business is all about relationships. It is important that you interact with people every day. There are a few easy ways to do this. I use facebook for most of my communication, so in order to keep engaging with my friends, I make it a habit to interact with AT LEAST 3 people I haven't talked to in a while every day. This helps you build a relationship, and it ensures that people will be aware of you, look at your posts, and hopefully follow you. Anoth...er way to engage is to look at your upcoming birthdays, and send a personal message to everyone who is having a birthday. Don't just send a "Happy Birthday, try to personalize it more, and maybe ask a few questions... questions encourage people to engage. Some ideas are..."Do you have anything special planned?" "what are you looking forward to this year?" People will appreciate your thoughtfulness. See more

If you are like me, a lot of your life and business is online. I use Facebook extensively for marketing, networking, and advertising, and I rely on google for my file storage, scheduling, documents tasks, almost everything!
