The other day I was at a busy gas station and I pulled in and was using a Christmas gift card to pay for my gas and it didn't work. So I had to go inside.. I went inside and of course it was super busy as this location also had a Timmy's attached. So I pay for my gas go outside and a nother customer at the pump asked " Are you even getting gas?" And I said " yes, why what's up?"( It looked obvious) He glares at me and grumbled something and I started to pump.. He looked piss...y so I explained myself and said "I had to go inside cause my gift card didn't work here.. " Then he proceeded to tell me that he was waiting for 10 min get into the pump cause it seems like everyone parks and goes in for Timmy's.. I said "oh really, that's crazy cause there is separate parking available for that.." but I realized that's what he assumed I had been doing until I told him otherwise and noticed I also had my daughter in the car. Then he offered and insisted to pay for my gas which was nice of him but I just wished him a Happy New Year and all the best. It's crazy the frustration can be easily defused by taking a few moments to clarify, not that I need to but I thought it would help. #bekind #smile #honest #love
