Good Morning! What do you believe about your child’s abilities? Do you believe they don’t’ know what they are doing, they always get things wrong and never follow through on what they are supposed too.... OR do you believe they are capable people struggling to learn and grow to their potential despite x,y,z? ... I believe kids are capable I’ve fostered 12 kids and believed them all capable despite their challenges and despite my challenges parenting them. It was on me as mom as parent to find the right combination for each individual kid’s capacity to be nurtured and encouraged. I could never have done that unless I saw them as capable beings trying to grow. Take a minute and write a list of capacities your child has and hold them to your heart while creating the belief that Kids are Capable XO Kim
