This is how Mother's Day went at ours...

I countdown to these #sunsets and rush to the porch to enjoy them each night. Occasionally the rugrats barge into my blissful bubble and cause a ruckus but even Akira stops to smell the tulips on the front lawn.

Weekend vibes! We've been living in #Niagara for a few weeks and the kids never want to explore beyond the backyard. So we've made it our mission to drag them and one other family member out each weekend to explore a nearby park or trail. One Friday my brother, Chris and I roamed around the @niagaraparks #NiagaraGlen and discovered a magical space deep in the Niagara Gorge to enjoy nature at. We were in disbelief that it was our first time here after years of living and vis...iting the area. The following weekend we dragged the kids with the promise of going into a "Magical Fairy Forrest ". This time we knew the paths to avoid that would cause me anxiety if they got too close to the edge! During their two hour visit the kids were able to run through woodland, explore small caves (prehistoric geological formations), sit by the Niagara river and learn about #niagarabouldering by watching others who were visiting the park for exercise. Yesterday we said goodbye to family and slowly made our way to catch our flight back home. Cape George Lighthouse was a lovey spot to let the kids run around while Chris and Yashy took in the gorgeous and moody views. On a clear day you can see PEI and Cape Breton from here. We can't believe our month has come to an end. That sped by for sure! This time with family and nature was good for our souls but we know that we must return.... sigh . #MurphysDoNS
