The fact of the matter is that over time (and we could be talking many decades here), steel will degrade and break down. So what happens once your previous steel structure is torn down and hauled away? If an old steel building is in somewhat decent shape, an astounding 93% of it can be recycled and 6% of it can be reused.

Myth: Steel buildings create a noisy environment. This myth probably originates from the knowledge that old-fashioned tin roofs were really loud during a rainstorm. With steel buildings, noise cancellation is achieved by insulation. Not only does this prevent outside noises from entering the building, it also helps to cut down on internal noises as well, acting as a damper to reduce echoes and generally lower the volume.

Good Morning! It's Day 2 of the Ottawa Valley Farm Show. Today, we are open from 9 am until 8 pm. The Grey Cup will be on display in Kubota booth 615 today fro...m 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Seed Show entries were judged last Saturday at the Greely Community Centre, and today, the Awards will be presented in the Court of Honour at noon to the top winners - sort of a Farm version of the Oscars. Other attractions this year are chainsaw carver Josh Dagg who’ll create on site a large corn cob to be offered at the seed sale on Thursday, and a contest to accurately guess the weight of a fiberglass bull and the brass bell attached to its neck with a custom leather strap. The bull, and Josh Dagg`s chain saw carvings, can be found near the Farm Show Office at door 2. See more

Another important question to ask when evaluating the steel building erection contractors is... What happens if a concern or problem arises? Whom do you call and will you be able to deal with the company owner or management, or only with the on-site personnel?

An important question to ask when evaluating steel building erection contractors is... Does the contractor have workplace safety and insurance board (WSIB) coverage? Adequate WSIB coverage is required, and if your contractor fails to obtain or maintain coverage during project will result in fines from the Ministry of Labour.

I have to say I can't remember having sold a building with quite so many doors in it before!!
