t's been quiet here with out the studio open due to Covid restrictions, HOWEVER, in 2 weeks I'll be hosting an online art event in collaboration with Environment Network Diocese of NS & PEI and as part of the online art show Hope & Inspiration Art Show - Anglican Diocesan Environment Network. Might be the start of something new.... Might just be a fun hour of art making - either way, I hope you'll join me! Check out the event for details.

The last Create Space video of the season... in which we go outside and I encourage children to run out into the streets in the name of art play... seriously. SOOooo - don't do that part - enjoy a city image hunt BUT do it safely - with supervision. I'd rather see everyone able to come back and make art at the studio in the fall!

Some scratch art for your rainy day inside - all you need is some thick paper, crayons, and black paint! As restrictions begin to ease here in Halifax and we all begin to move to more outdoor and community activities you can look forward to 2 more videos coming May 30th and June 15th as we close out this season of Create Space. Though is has been awful to not have people in the studio every other week - it has been a great challenge to continue the art making in this way and I have loved seeing all the images you have shared as you joined in the art making!
