There is an immediate opening at the Parkallen Community Garden for a Program Liaison - someone to coordinate paperwork and communicate with the gardeners, the Parkallen Community League, the City of Edmonton and our Parkallen community. Volunteer 15-30 hours per year to take on this role. Example: these tulips were planted by Brownies and Girl Guides. Hello Parkallen Community. Your Community Garden executive held an AGM today using Zoom. Community gardening has the green light from the City of Edmonton as a safe and healthy activity with restrictions, including bringing our own tools, access to hand washing, maintaining a minimum 2 meter distance from each other at all times, and meeting remotely where possible.
Thank you Parkallen Community Gardeners for this pretty and delicious tri-colour lettuce!
WATER ME! Parkallen, our community garden is full of seeds and sprouts. It needs all the water it can get in the coming weeks. The watering cans are out and the water barrel is full. Water when you can.
