We've shared her story below: Dear Parkbridge, I’m alone and things like grass and snow cause me great concern so I moved into an adult community were all the outside work was done. I had no idea that wasn't the end of my story. ... Hi, my name is Lori and I was going to write you and tell you about my summer last year. It was exhausting and uncertain. I was struggling with a newly diagnosed auto immune deficiency, but never missed a meal because my Neighbours were the get-up-and-go I couldn’t get to. Every night a home cooked meal was deliciously delivered right to my door. Then I thought perhaps I would mention how we always get together to celebrate our birthdays (I attached a picture, it's from last year it's kind of funny cause they're not sure about this selfie thing, lol) or talk about our nightly front porch chats that usually somehow turn into the CIA of how to catch a good man. I’m telling you they’re some of my favourite educations, lol. But I didn’t have to elaborate on last year because today August 13, 2020 I got a phone call that my Neighbours were doing their front walks and were going to be sealing mine for me as well so I took a picture, because that just kind of says it all! I have a few favorite things like chocolate for breakfast, cupcakes at committee meeting and saying yes to seconds but nothing is as sweet to me as walking out my front door. I tell you I feel like the kid that found Willy Wonka’s golden ticket because my Neighbours really do make everything better. In a world that’s torn in every direction right now I’m held steadfast in their faithful thoughtfulness where their kindness is a beautiful circle of love around me. Thank you Parkbridge for the opportunity to say how much I love them too! Neighbour Week, what a great idea to celebrate our friends, but here at our Parkbridge location it’s more than a week, it’s simply our way of life. - Lori

On the weekend of December 6-8, 2018, the Parkbridge Quebec team proudly participated in the Mt. Tremblant 24-Hour Relay http://www.24htremblant.com/en to support children battling serious illnesses. Our team rose to the occasion, braved the cold and took ski run after ski run to support this great cause. Smiles, determination, team spirit, and hot chocolate warmed our team, not to mention the amazing jackets provided by Graffiti Art Inc. The Mt.
