Amelia and I are direct descendants of passengers from the Ship Hector that arrived here September 15, 1773. Here is a picture from a few anniversaries ago of wee Amelia!! Although we have ties with the MacLeod clan, highland dancers can wear any tartan of any colour. At this age she wore Dress Turquoise Lennox.
The Ship Hector arrived 247 years ago today in Pictou, NS. To celebrate, the NaGashGich Pipes & Drums played some tunes on the waterfront and Payton danced an impromptu Scottish Lilt!
