Parks Lawn Bowling

Congrats to Alexis Fares for your efforts this past weekend representing District 4 novice ladies at the provincial tournament. Unfortunately I think nerves got the better of her and she didn’t make it to the finals. On behalf of District 4 and Parks Lawn Bowling I would like to say thank you for being a great person and great sport. Many more years as a novice to go, so that jacket will be yours. Keep up the great bowling.

Our members participated in the District Singles in Stratford today. Denis Kearney and Alexis Fares were 1-2 for the day. We congratulate Grand Cove on their wins today.

Had 5 new folks try lawn bowling tonight. They had tons of fun!!! If you haven’t tried it come on out next Tuesday and give it a try. We provide all you need. Just wear flat shoes and let’s have some fun.

Another fun day at the Parks Lawn Bowling. Today was our annual corn roast fun day!!!! Also happy birthday to Brian Farrell.
