Outlook is quickly nearing completion, and we are excited to welcome residents to their new homes. The top four floors are getting final touch-ups, with crews busy wrapping up first-floor finishings. In the common area, flooring is installed, the elevator is operational, and painting and wall coverings are almost complete. Outside, landscaping is underway, with trees and shrubbery bringing life to the planter boxes, and the painters are busy preparing the building's front exterior for paint. This week we expect to pour the concrete driveway to the underground parkade.

With construction entering the home stretch, we move closer to welcoming Outlook residents into their new homes. Inside, the top four floors have appliances installed with only the first floor remaining. Fifth-floor blinds and shower glass surrounds are installed, and common areas will see carpet and trim next week. Outside, deck railings have been installed, the exterior is ready for paint, and the back common area is ready for landscaping.

We are nearing the final construction phase at Outlook and look forward to welcoming our new homeowners to the Harbourview District community. Inside, the fifth and fourth-floor common areas are drywalled, and the installation of the suite entry doors is underway. Crews are now wrapping up cabinets, flooring, and trim on the second floor, moving down to the first and final floor. The elevator is installed and should be operational at the end of the month. Outside, the rooftop decking is complete, the concrete for the front planter boxes is poured, and we expect the completion of siding and railings in two weeks, which means landscaping can begin.

Watching the interior and exterior finishes come together is an exciting time for us and our purchasers. As Outlook construction nears the home stretch, cabinet installation is complete on the fifth floor, flooring and tile are nearing 90%, and portions of the fourth floor are prepared and ready for cabinets. The second and third floors are insulated, and all the third-floor units are boarded. Outside, our crews are busy framing the roof-top to apply the final decking.

Now more than ever, we are spending more time in our surrounding communities. Outlook construction is moving along, and we are excited to see the interior taking shape as crews work their way from the top of the building down. Insulation on the fourth and fifth floor is complete, and drywall has begun, as well as tub and shower installation. On the bottom three floors, fireboard and insulation are underway. Over the next month, we expect to begin painting, flooring and cabinet installation on the fifth and fourth floors. Stay tuned for more construction updates as we approach the home stretch.

As the end of March draws near, construction on Outlook is moving along. With the majority of the windows installed, the deck and roof membrane application is underway, and we are excited to see the elevator is now on site. Inside, electricians have finished the top 3 floors working their way down, and the main electrical room has been installed. Plumbing rough-ins are complete, and HVAC venting is moving its way through the building from the top-down, having finished the top... three floors. March has been a busy month, both construction-wise as well as the sales launch of Prospect. However, as we are all faced with the uncertainty of COVID-19, the safety of our community, contractors and team members are top of mind, and we continue to monitor the situation closely. On the construction site, work continues while being mindful of the precautions set forth by health care professionals and government approval.

Since our last construction update, the exterior structure is complete, and window installation is progressing from the ground floor moving up to the fifth. Following windows, you can expect to see the application of the deck membrane and sliding glass door installation. Inside the building, crews are working on the sprinkler system installation, and plumbing and electrical are moving along nicely, with plumbing reaching near completion.

We are excited to share the latest Outlook update. Framing is nearing completion and crews are busy applying the membrane to the roof. The views from the shared roof-top deck are even better than we could have imagined. Inside, electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-ins are moving along nicely, and we expect windows at the beginning of February.

Welcome to 2020! We are excited to watch the Harbourview District vision unfold over the next year! 5th-floor framing is complete at Outlook, and the framing for the roof-top patio is underway.
