The Canadian Premier Soccer League’s eight teams are currently in Charlottetown playing their shortened season. This video is curtesy of the league and showcases some of what this beautiful island has to offer.

We can always hope that we will be back to normal, or at least closer to it, next year and once again our guests can come and find out for themselves what makes this island special.

UPDATE on opening of ParkView on Richmond. We are still living in uncertain times and new ways of doing business are being developed. Due to the continued spread of Covid we have to operate with the safety of our guests and also that of fellow islanders at the forefront. Before the crisis you could book directly through Airbnb for the dates that are available, but since we now need to have days in between each guest's stay to allow for airing and a thorough cleaning before th...e next guest's arrival this system is no longer viable. We will not be allowing instant bookings through Airbnb and it will show that there is currently no availability for the summer as we have the dates blocked. If you would like to book you must message me either through this facebook page or through Airbnb messenger and request your dates and I will then be able to tell you whether or not they are feasible. If the dates can be accommodated they will be unblocked for you and you may book as normal with all Airbnb procedures still in place. If you are travelling from a maritime province there are currently no restrictions on your travel to the island and this will be the procedure you will follow. If travelling from elsewhere you must enter a two week self quarantine in the unit immediately upon arrival, so this would need to be factored into the length of your stay. This will be strictly enforced and we will make NO exceptions to this rule for booking. I hope that this information is clear to you, and if not please contact me and I can explain further. Thank you for taking the time to visit ParkView on Richmond’s page, we really appreciate each and every one of you. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic ParkView has unfortunately been closed since the middle of March and is not expected to reopen for quite a while yet. Due to PEI being an island with only three ways to enter, we are in a unique position to try and shield the general population from the spread of the disease through the closure of those means of entry and only all...owing essential workers through. This closure therefore directly affects us as an Airbnb who relies solely on tourists to produce revenue. Our first concern has always been, and always will be, our guest’s comfort and safety and so we will only reopen when we feel that it is a safe environment for not only our guests, but also our cleaners as well as ourselves. Unfortunately, at this time it is impossible to give a date for the reopening, but are thinking it will not be until at least August and possibly not at all in 2020. We would like to thank our past guests for their incredible reviews and loyalty, and regret immensely not being able to host you again this summer. We look forward to the time where we can once again throw open the front door and welcome you back in so you can truly immerse yourselves in all this island has to offer.
