We had ourselves a great weekend training session, with a bit of snow, out at the Carling Training Centre. Thanks to all who attended and to Take the Door Training for teaching some of our Firefighters some absolutely essential RIT techniques. We hope that all who took part in the training learned something new and will be able to take these lessons back to their own Fire Depts. for the rest of their Firefighters to learn.

Do you have some free time on your hands? Fancy yourself a bit of an artist? Don't want to go outside because of all the COVID-19 talk going on? Well have we got a project for you. As some may know, our training committee and executive are looking into getting some Swag (hats, toques, badges) for the association to use for when we have outside guests and trainers come to us and give their time to teach our firefighters something new to use in the field. Well, we need your hel...p in getting as many ideas for designs as possible. The sooner the better. We do have a training coming up in May and we'd like to show off some shinny new things. So let us know your ideas. Message this page with pics or descriptions of your design. Executive and training committee members will pick through the submissions and choose what's going to work best for our needs. Can't wait to see what people come up with. See more

Hello All, Here's your friendly reminder of the upcoming Mutual Aid Association meeting/potluck taking place in McKellar Fire Station 1 Sharon Park Drive December 9th at 19:00 (7pm). Please organize amongst your own dept. what you are bringing to the potluck so that we don't all end up bringing desserts. Not that that would be a bad thing. There will be a short meeting during/after dinner. Some business has come up that we need to attend to before the new year. And when I say short...I mean a short meeting. Nothing to worry about. Can't wait to see everyone there. I'm sure there will be lots of great food and conversation.
