Wax, scrape, brush, structure and polish! Nordic ski waxing only costs $19.99 a pair and we can have them back to you in a day. Why not start the new year off with faster skis? We also do wax-able, skate, alpine skis and snowboards. ... Open Monday to Saturday 10am-6pm, by appointment. Call to make arrangements 705-746-6060.
While 2020, it was quite the ride! There were ups and downs for sure, but it really wasn’t all bad. Here are our top 5 take aways from 2020: 1. While we had to cancel almost every group ride and event in 2020 we met so many new people to ride with when group rides return. 2. At one point we had sold out of bikes, completely. But that means we got so many new people on bikes and out on the trails. ... 3. We couldn’t travel, but we love Parry Sound and there isn’t enough time in a year to do all the things we want to do here anyway. 4. Our town grew as many people moved to the area and became locals. More people, means more opportunities and experiences and a bright future for Parry Sound. 5. We all learned a lot. It is in difficult times that we learn the most. And there were times this year that were difficult. Thanks 2020 for everything you gave us!

Merry Christmas Eve to everyone! from Aleesha, Thomas, Kevin & Franklin
Summer time! Do you have plans to ride your bike more next summer? I know I sure do!
If you own a small business you should be proud of yourself. This year you were forced to close and adapt or you were busy beyond your capacity. You made difficult decisions to layoff staff or to open and bear the responsibility of keeping everyone safe. You are the ones who hold your community together, volunteer your time, donate and keep local people employed. Every year you sacrifice a lot for your business, but especially this year. Continue to lead as you always have, with your head held high and a smile; and remember to be proud of yourself, we’ve made it this far. We will let everyone know today what we’ll be doing during the lockdown. But know, we’ll be here in some capacity to serve our community as best we can.

Squeezing in a few bonus rides this fall? Here’s a few tips for keeping warm this time of year. - Dress with wind proof in mind - Wear warm gloves (wind proof is best) - If you don’t have shoe covers, you can use a plastic bag inside your shoes (not pretty but it works )
Here’s the Firehall in 1907. Thanks On This Spot for sharing, and check them out for other images like this of downtown Parry Sound.

Parry Sound Bikes will be closed Monday September 28th until October 4th, 2020 (next week). All summer the three of us (myself, Thomas and Kevin) have been working overtime to keep everyone rolling. While Covid-19 meant different things for different businesses, for the bike industry and our area it's meant we've been busier than ever. We anticipate this momentum will continue on into the winter season and we need some time to get ready. We will re-open Monday October 5th at 10:00 a.m. ready to help you stay active and outdoors this fall and winter!
We’ve stocked up on warm layers, cozy tights and puffy jackets for cool mornings like today!
If you needed more proof that a bike can change your life... Chris reached out to Parry Sound Bikes back in the spring and purchased a Specialized Crosstrail. At the time he was excited to use the bike as a way to stay positive and active during the pandemic. Read on to see what he did next... Specialized Bicycles
