This year, on December 1st, it is both Giving Tuesday and World AIDS Day. Children living with HIV/AIDS face extreme injustice. Their communities shame, blame and reject them for having HIV/AIDS; some even become homeless. We provide a home for children with HIV/AIDS living on the street or in abusive households. The home offers specialized services that will allow children to live to their fullest potential, surrounded by love and opportunity. Sabitri and her four family members live in an area of India that has regular flooding. When there is flooding, all the wells in their community become contaminated and there is no other source of clean water. The only option these people have to survive is to boil the muddy flood water to use as their drinking water. Many people suffer from waterborne diseases each time there is a flood. After this community received handheld water filters, Sabitri shared "Now, by the grace ...and mercy of Jesus Christ and through your helping hand, we can filter this flood water from ponds and wells and drink clean water.
