For anyone interested in doing more traditional music and dance this summer, please join Christina, Jane and other instructors at the Vinland Music Camp in Gros Morne National Park. It's an all ages camp the third week week in August.

I don't have a video of the Burin Lancers to share with you but in the video below, you can see some of the unique elements of that dance. The video is of a dance put together from various dances for a show. But from 3:00 to 4:25 you can see the Baskets, Stars and part of Strip the Willow from the Burin Lancers.

Are you ready to dance the Lancers? Here's a version from Conception Bay. We'll be dancing the Burin version on the 13th.
