Projection matters. As screen sizes increase, so must your projectors. Some might say well when it’s dark, everything looks the same. Sadly, this isn’t the case. There is a definitive difference in image quality between a 6,000 lumen projector vs 12,000 vs 20,000 lumens especially when using larger screens with larger audiences. When you Introduce ambient lighting such as park or parking lot lighting, vehicle lighting at drive-in events or even ambient city lighting your image will appear washed out and faded. Darker movie scenes will not register on the screen and audiences will be frustrated and left disappointed. Here’s our 20,000 lumen projector in action this past weekend - we primarily use it to shoot our 40’ outdoor movie screen.
We hosted a couple of events in our hometown of Halton Hills recently and today we were excited to provide donation cheques from each event to the recipients! We raised $2,500 for Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills from our Jim Cuddy concert and we raised $2,000 for Food4Kids Halton Hills from our drive-in movie event earlier in the fall! We love doing drive-ins this year ...but sure do miss a good old fashioned movie with blankets and chairs!
