A MESSAGE FROM THE PASADENA LIONS CLUB Since we can't bring Santa and his sleigh throughout town this Christmas our Pasadena Lions Club is pleased to announce a... new and exciting event for the community. "Santa Drive-By" will be happening outside Pasadena Place on Saturday December 12 from 10am until noon giving families a much needed treat this holiday season. The Pasadena Lions Club invites the young and the young-at-heart to our drive-by viewing of Santa and Mrs. Claus outside Pasadena Place. Santa knows that spirits may be low this year, and he wants to spread some socially distanced holiday cheer! Santa's helpers will be onsite to collect letters to Santa and distribute loot bags to the children. No need to exit your vehicle to wave or shout holiday greetings to Santa and Mrs. Claus. In conjunction with our event, Pasadena Leos will be collecting food and monetary donations for the local Food Bank. Volunteers with Pasadena Fire Rescue will also be accepting new toys and monetary donations in support of their annual Toy Drive. Although we don't want to be too presumptuous, we anticipate a spectacular display of Christmas Spirit by Pasadena Fire Rescue outside their headquarters as part of our "Santa Drive-By" event. The Town of Pasadena will also have some festive displays outside Pasadena Place. Planning for this event is ongoing with more secret surprises in store for all the family to enjoy.

Our Everybody Moves Program is offered to adults with exceptionalities and their caregivers. This week is the last chance to get together before the Christmas Holidays begin. Be sure to check our Facebook Page for upcoming events in the new year.

For Immediate Release COVID-19 Update- Town Pasadena November 22, 2020 The Pasadena Town Council held a meeting late this afternoon to discuss the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our region. In light of the rising number of positive cases, shared connections between local communities, schools, sports groups etc, and in the interest of public health, the Town of Pasadena will be adjusting all non-essential services effective immediately.... Pasadena Place (Recreation Centre) programs and services will close immediately. Afterschool daycare services will continue due to its essential service. This program will be rigorously monitored and all public health safety guidelines followed. The Town Hall will be closed. Appointments will be available for any business transactions that can not be preformed in an alternate form (i.e. telephone, video conferencing or electronic means). Residents are asked to stay at home as much as possible. Those at higher risk of complications due to COVID-19 should not go out, except to get essentials like groceries and medications. The Town of Pasadena is encouraging residents that must go out to wear a mask unless medical reasons permit otherwise. The Town of Pasadena would like to emphasize to our residents to follow all public health measures and ask for your patience, compassion and kindness as we continue to fight the COVID-19 virus. Residents are reminded if they become symptomatic they are asked to call 811. The Town of Pasadena appreciates your cooperation in this very important public health matter. Duties include cash handling, reception, scheduling, customer service, and data entry in Microsoft Excel.
