Pasquia Park Pool

This week we have a bronze cross course running from Monday through Friday in the pool. Due to the course our public swim hours for the week are 11am-5pm & 6pm - 8:30pm with the exception of Thursday when we close at 7pm. Please be mindful of the swimmers in the course during public swim as they will be in the water too. There are 10 swimmers in the course so our max capacity inside the fence this week is now 40 for the 11-5 public swim. The last day the pool is open is Sunday August 23rd. Our weekend hours will be the same as our hours throughout the week. Thank you everyone for an amazing summer!!!

Starting tomorrow we are going to start closing the pool at 8:30 instead of 9:00 due to it getting dark earlier. Our public swim hours for the holiday tomorrow are 3-8:30. Aqua size will still run from 8-9 and lessons will be from 9-3. Let’s have a great last month of swimming!

Hello everyone just a reminder that we have aquasize every weekday morning from 8am - 9am. The price is $3.00 each time or a punchcard for 10 aquasizes is $27.00.

The pool will not be open the rest of the night, we hope to be open tomorrow for our normal hours.

We are excited to announce that we plan on opening this week for swimming lessons and public swim! The health inspector is coming Monday morning and depending on the outcome we will be open for the year. Swimming Lessons/Canada Day: If we get the go ahead to open the pool before noon on Monday we will have the second half of swimming lessons on Monday from 12pm-3pm. If this is the case then we will only have the morning lessons (9am-12pm) on Canada day to have a longer publi...c swim. If we cannot have lessons on Monday then we will lessons from 9am to 3pm on Canada day and public swim from 3pm-9pm. Aqausize: We will not have aquasize the week of June 29-July 3 and it will start on July 6 and run as normal from 8am - 9am. Public Swim: Public swim will start at 3pm-9pm on Monday assuming we pass our health inspection. We passed our health inspection!! Lessons are a go from 12-3 today and then public swim from 3-9 tonight. Let’s have a great summer!!!

We are very sad to say that we are going to have to cancel session 1 of swimming lessons this year due to COVID-19. We are still unsure of when we can open - the earliest we can open is when phase 4 part one starts and the dates for that are still unknown. Once that date is announced we will do our best to be ready to open as soon as we can. Thank you for being patient with us in these uncertain times.

Just a reminder that the Pasquia Park Camping Registration for 2020 is tomorrow. It will take place at 9:00 am online and there is more information about the registration on the Pasquia Regional Park Facebook page. In order to register for a camping spot you need to have received a confirmation letter for your swimming lessons. If you have not received a confirmation letter yet you either have not paid for your swimming lessons or we have not received payment yet. Swimming lesson registration for 2020 will be on April 14th at 9 am. Registration will be done online once again this year with the link for the registration being posted shortly before 9 am on April 14th. We will be having 8 lesson sessions this summer as well as our Bronze Medallion/Cross course: Session 1: June 15th - 26th Session 2: June 29th - July 3rd... Due to the poor weather we are shutting down early tonight. Hopefully tomorrow is nice and everyone comes out for the last day of swimming!

With our last day being this Sunday. I finally remembered/was reminded for the 10th time (my bad) to post our lost and found for the year. We have lots of goodies so if you see anything that's yours please stop by the pool before Sunday at 8pm to grab it. If you can't make it that quick, no worries! Everything will be moved to the interpretive center for a few weeks until the park closes.

The summer is winding down for 2019 with tomorrow being our last day of lessons! Public swimming hours starting Saturday will be 11-6 & 7-8:30 everday (except next Thursday we will be closing at 8 for inservice) up until our last day which will be Sunday August 25th. Thanks everyone for another fantastic summer at Pasquia Park Pool. We hope to see everyone for the last 10 days of swimming! And thanks again to everyone who voted for us. Just a heads up for everyone. We are going to extend our staff inservice for the next two weeks to help ensure our staff provides everyone with the safest environment we possibly can. So we will still have public from 1-6pm but there will be no evening or lane swim on Thursday July 18th & 25th.

Hello everyone! We have still not set a date for this year's swimming lesson registration but it will be some time in mid April again. This year we will only be having one week sessions except for the June session which will stay the same. Sorry for any confusion about our registration as I have seen some people commenting on posts from last year. Sorry for the late post but we are now closed for the 2018 season. Thanks to everyone who shared another great summer with us. There is still a large amount of unclaimed items from our lost and found. They are now at the interpretive centre to be picked up if you see anything that is yours.

Due to the weather we are closing the pool early today. We hope it is nicer tomorrow and everyone comes out for our last day of swimming.

Only four more days left of our summer so come on out to the pool! Our last day being Tuesday, August 28th. Public Swim is 11-6 & 7-8:30 (may close earlier if too dark), Lane Swim is 6-7. There will be no aquasize Monday or Tuesday. We hope to see everyone come out at least once more!

We are still going to have aquasize next week from 8-9am. There will only be an instructor Tuesday and Friday though so the other three days the equipment will just be set out to use.

We are very happy to announce we finally have an instructor for our bronze medallion/cross course starting Tuesday, August 21st. Our weekday public swim hours will switch to 12-6 & 7-9 starting August 20th-24th during the course. After the bronze course public swim will be 11-6 & 7-9 daily with our last day of swimming being Tuesday, August 28th. (The closing time of the pool depends on the daylight so the pool may close earlier than 9 if the bottom of the deep end is not visible.) So get on down to the pool at least once more before summer is over!

The voicemail message on our phone at the pool is not working so if you have called in the message is incorrect. We are not open yet but are hoping to be this weekend. We will know later in the week so stay tuned.

We are happy to announce the new cement is in and it looks great! A big thanks goes to the Carrot River Young Women's Club who donated $5000 to help out. We have also sold the black tiles that used to cover the perimeter and used the proceeds as well so thanks to everyone who took those off our hands. Lastly we would like to thank C.D. Construction and Holmes' Redimix for helping us put in the new cement!

Some people have been asking about our opening date and I've forgot to post every time so sorry about that. We are currently working on putting in new cement around our pool deck so we can't do anything with the water until that is finished. We will be open June 18th from 7-9pm for public swim with lessons running from 4-6pm and lane swim 6-7pm. If everything goes smoothly we could be open for the weekend 15th-17th weekend but that is not for sure as of yet. We will keep you updated on our progress so stay tuned!

This year we are working on a new registration site for swimming lessons which more information will be posted on once everything is sorted out. Registration is planned to be open on April 15th.
