Passa Architects was requested by Windsor Radiological Associates to investigate various design options for a new or renovated main facility in downtown Windsor. The new facility was to provide a new image for the company and coincided with the company's name change to Clear Medical Imaging. After the various options were reviewed and discussed, the Owner decided on a new build facility that would be two storeys high with a full basement space offering additional future expan...sion space. The final layout of the building provided a total of 13,590 sq. ft. of clinical and office space (including basement) built on their existing site and was designed so that construction could occur while the existing facility continued to operate. Eventually the existing structure was demolished once operations transitioned over to the new facility and the new parking lot was built on the former building location. The new facility offers a clean, modern appearance accented in the new company colours complete with expansive sections of glazing providing ample interior daylighting. See more

Passa Architects were contracted by PCR Constructors Inc. of Windsor to be the Project Architect designing the extensive renovation and re-branding of a former Travelodge Hotel in downtown Windsor into the new Holiday Inn Express. Passa Architects developed a modern, functional and accessible lower two storeys of the twelve storey hotel comprising mostly of public access areas by reorganizing the main entry and lobby, revising the access to the second floor, completely renova...ting the two-storey lounge / dining area with new glazing walls along the front elevation of the building, updating the washrooms, exercise area, pool, meeting rooms and staff areas all as portions of the scope of work. Exterior renovations aimed at modernizing and revitalizing the appearance of the building included revising existing curtainwall installations, adding a large new canopy over the revised new main entrance / vehicle drop off area, adding accent lighting to the exterior and painting the entire exterior façade of the building. The comprehensive and extensive renovation altered the existing building from a non-descript hotel into an attractive new entity in the downtown core of city on its expansive waterfront. See more
