We are excited to finally announce the opening of the Lower Mountain this Saturday! Operating hours this weekend will be 10m-4pm for both Saturday and Sunday. The Face will be open, and we recommend intermediate/advanced skiers and riders on the Lower mountain only. We know the announcements made this week have an impact on what Pass Powderkeg will look like for the upcoming 4 weeks. While we don’t have all the answers yet, we know that we will be able to ski and ride this... weekend. Season Passes are available for purchase online. Photos can also be uploaded after purchase or emailed in to get pre-printed. We are encouraging everyone to purchase online and either upload photos or send them to [email protected]. Waivers must be signed in person. We are offering Office Hours from 1pm-6pm Thursday and Friday in order to get as many passes printed as possible. Lift tickets are also available for pre-purchase online at our website. We encourage everyone to make use of this as much as possible. Please keep an eye out for changes as they become more clear. Thank you for your patience. As always, feel free to email, Facebook or call us with your questions.

While we work towards opening, we ask that you do not ski or snowboard at PPK on off-hours as there is machinery and snowmaking equipment still on the main run. We aim to have this complete soon! Thank you for your co-operation.

We know this weather and this year has been trying for everyone. We know you are looking forward to getting back on your skis or snowboards more than ever before and trying out the new extended Lower Lift, runs groomed by our New Snowcat and night skiing under our Upgraded Lighting. We are pushing hard to be ready for this weekend and will update you all later in the week. We’ll get there soon and the wait will be worth it. In the meantime, have your gear ready, think col...d, snowy thoughts and stay safe. And tell your friends about what a great place PPK is to get your family outside this winter. Do your non-skier/boarder friends a favour by telling them about our Learn to Turn program; Southern Alberta’s most affordable learning package at $249.99 for 4 lessons/rentals/lift tickets with some great perks including an unrestricted Season Pass once you graduate. They’ll thank you for it and we will too. See more
