I am so happy to tell you that there will still be thread available in town. The thread cabinet was moved over to The Flipside this afternoon. Thank you Christy and Devon for taking it over. This young couple are so full of energy and wanting to make sure they can fill in areas of need in our town. As I said previously please pay them a visit, you’ll be pleasantly surprised what they have to offer. Looking forward to seeing all the New they have in the works. The Flipside has taken my DMC over and will now be your local supplier for embroidery floss for your cross stitching, embroidery and embellishing needs . Please keep them in mind and Shop Local If you have never been to their store it’s worth your trip. They are located at 217 3rd ave N. W.

If any of you are making quilt tops or blocks for Humboldt and can have them ready by April 27th I will look after the shipping for you. Patchwork Fabrics storefront is entering into its final 2 weeks. Saturday, April 21st will be my final day. Everything in the store is discounted between 30%- 70% off. It has been coming to my attention over the past couple of weeks that word has it that Patchwork Fabrics is already closed. Please share this and help me get the word out that I am still OPEN and that I still have quite a bit of stock . I also am selling off all my shelving etc. as it empties. Lots of great sales and changing and adding weekly.

CLOSING Hi everyone and Happy New Year. I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas and wish you and your families all a healthy and happy 2018. This time has been coming for a while .....Patchwork Fabrics will be closing their doors in 2018. After nearly 18 years in operation it has taken me a while to accept that it is time to close this chapter of my life. It's been an amazing journey through which I have met and made friends with so many wonderful quilters. So many of you h...ave been here with me since the day I opened my doors in the basement of my home . All the classes, sewcializing, our quilt gifting to disaster recipients as well as other chosen groups, the quilt shows and so much more. You've given me so many wonderful memories that I shall cherish for ever. When the store opens Tuesday my closing sale will begin. I don't have a final date yet but will announce it the beginning of my final month. Thanks in advance for your continued support while I begin the final days of Patchwork Fabrics. I have decided to take some extended time off after Christmas.Please note the days I will be closed.

I quite often have quilters looking to gift a fellow quilter but don't want to make them something quilty cause they quilt . Let me tell you that even as a quilter receiving a gift from someone that they made just for you is extra special . So if you are struggling on finding that special gift maybe this is the year you can make something quilty and warm your friends quilty heart. Several bolts of Texture Illusion by Daiwabo for Maywood Studio just in. The photo doesn't do these justice. Such amazing texture. Caitlyn Leishman just finished up a quilt last weekend using these and it looked stunning.
