Merry Christmas from the Delaney’s! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous rest of 2021 and 2022!

What a year! 40+million funded, 87 deals closed, 87 sets of clients who’s lives I changed forever. It feels great to hear the happiness of someone who just got approved, knowing I just changed their life. This is why I do what I do! The 8pm phone calls every night, the late nights/weekends working has finally paid off. Being successful is not easy, it takes lots hard work. 2021 has been the craziest, busiest year of my life. To think I did this all with no assistant i...s mind boggling. Big thanks to some of my wonderful realtor partners. Bank of Canada dropped its key interest rate this week by 0.5%. The first drop in almost 2 years and largest single drop since 2008/2009. This is great news for variable rate mortgage holders, secured line of credit holders, people wanting to refinance, people looking to buy or simply just reviewing your current mortgage to see if you can capitalize. Bank of Canada cut its key interest rate by .50% today. This is in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak and uncertainties in the marketplace. Expect lenders to follow suit and begin to lower their rates. If you were thinking of refinancing or your renewal is coming up, now will be a great time to act on it. Renewing early and taking advantage of what today’s rates will be could be a huge benefit. It’s also a good time for First time homebuyers to get into the market. Th...e Stress test is being amended beginning Apr 6th (slightly) and rates will be low. (fyi, they are already low!)
