What are the chances... two cards fail within one week?! Thankfully this time I had a bag full of spares and cards get cheap on Black Friday!

Yeah, it happens to all of us. On a destination shoot and the memory card that has been rock solid for ages borks. Normally I’d have a backup, but didn’t think I’d need it this time (karma, I know) - and thought it was in my bag anyway. But so glad I backed up every evening while on the clock. So one day without photos could have been horrible, but in the end it’s just an inconvenience. Moral of the story... remember to have a fail over for your backup!
